- Artera Harmony Federal Edition
When an appointment is scheduled with a new Event in your EMR, that Event will automatically sync to Artera Harmony Federal Edition (AHFE). Remember, Events represent appointment types and are unique to each Practice. Click here to learn about Events.
When a new Event is added, it can be important to review any Triggers that use Event filters to ensure the new Event is included or excluded correctly.
Update Triggers to Include New Event
If your Triggers use Event filters, update them to include or exclude your new Events as needed. If you don't use Event-based filtering, no changes are required.
Navigate to Automations > Triggers.
Select the Trigger's (...) Actions menu and choose Edit.
Select Continue until you reach the third step of the Trigger, labeled Filters.
Select the Event tab and choose the new Event(s).
Select Continue until you reach the final Review page. Then, click Save. A dialog box will appear informing you that the edited Trigger will be paused and it must be restarted manually after saving. Select Save.
In the Triggers table, locate the newly edited Trigger, select its (...) Actions menu, and choose Turn On.
Repeat these steps for each necessary Trigger.
Prevent Triggers for the Event
Disable the Event to prevent Triggers for that Event from being sent and remove the Event from being used as a Trigger filter.
NOTE: Disabling an Event does not automatically deactivate Triggers associated with it. If a Trigger is set up for a single Event and that Event is disabled, the Trigger may still make phone calls to all patients. You must manually turn off the Trigger to prevent unintended outreach.
Common reasons to disable an Event include:
Automated phone calls related to the Event Type should not be made.
The Event is an internal-only scheduling item.
Disable Event
- In AHFE, select the Practice containing the newly added Event.
-
Navigate to Settings > Practice Settings > Events.
-
Located the Event you wish to disable, select its (...) Actions menu, and choose Disable Event.
