Campaign Practice vs Existing Practice Campaign Design Options

Now that you have determined that you want to send a campaign, let’s review which decisions you will need to make to determine where you want to send the campaign from in Artera.

Campaigns Practice vs Existing Practice

  • Campaigns Practice (Shell Practice): This Practice type is used to facilitate large-scale outreach through campaigns. This allows all campaigns for your Enterprise to live in one Practice, which makes monitoring campaigns and responses to campaigns easy. However, keep in mind that this Practice type would not have any associated Resources or Events.

  • Existing Practice: This Practice type is used for your everyday operations for communicating with patients. This could include Appointment Reminders, Referral outreach, or Conversational Messaging.

Campaign Design Options

Now that you have determined where you will send your campaign from in Artera, let's review what decisions you will have to make when it comes to your campaign design.

One-Way vs Conversational Messaging

  • One-Way: This campaign design is typically used for educational outreach with your patients where staff engagement post-campaign is not necessary in Artera.

  • Conversational: This campaign design is typically used for patient engagement. This is an actionable campaign because you are asking patients to act on the information provided in the campaign. For example, scheduling their flu shot or an annual wellness exam.

Considerations

One-Way

Conversational

Utilized for educational purposes to disseminate information to your patient population

Utilized for patient engagement

Patient responses are not expected, so it does not require Staff to monitor messages

Requires Staff Users to monitor inbound messages from patients regarding the campaign

Secure messaging can be utilized with verified patients
