- Artera Harmony Federal Edition
Keeping Triggers updated maximizes the value your organization obtains from Artera Harmony Federal Edition (AHFE) and ensures that patients continue to be engaged with their care. As your organization evolves, it is important to regularly review, update, pause, and/or delete Triggers, as needed.
NOTE: Enterprise Admin and Enterprise Content Manager users can create and/or modify Triggers. Enterprise Content Managers can not enable or disableTriggers. Click here to learn more about this user type.
Maintenance Recommendations
Regularly reviewing your Triggers is essential to ensure patients receive relevant and timely outreach. Please coordinate with an Enterprise User at your organization to review the Triggers configured for your Practice(s) and to determine if any adjustments are needed.
The review frequency will depend on the number of Triggers configured for your Practice as well as whether they are filtered by Events, Locations, and/or providers. As new Events, Locations, and providers are added to a Practice, it is crucial to verify that the relevant Triggers include these filters, where applicable.
Review Triggers
The Triggers page provides an overview of what each Trigger is designed to achieve. Triggers are sent based on Practice specifications, like Events, providers, Locations, and lines, while preserving an Enterprise-wide cadence and message content. Avoid Duplicates
If your Practice is experiencing patients receiving duplicate Appointment Confirmation messages, it is possible that there are two running Triggers that are configured based on the same variables. Being mindful of the number of automated messages, and ensuring that the variables do not overlap, can prevent the patient from receiving multiple phone calls for the same appointment on the same day.
Let's review some common mistakes users make when building Triggers:
Ensure your Events and Resources have unique names within AHFE. This will make it easier to ensure that you are adding the correct filters to the Trigger.
Ensure the Event or Provider is added to the Trigger if you filter Triggers by Event/Resource.
We recommend minimizing the number of Triggers running per Practice to deliver your desired reminder cadence. If you only need to send a handful of automated messages infrequently, we suggest using Campaigns instead.
