There are three user types in Artera, this article discusses Enterprise Users. Click here to learn about Staff and Manager Users.

Enterprise User Profile

Enterprise Users are created at the Enterprise-level and have full, unrestricted access to Artera. New Enterprise Users can only be added by existing Enterprise Users. This role is intended for implementation leads and ongoing account administrators.

Enterprise Users can:

  • Create all three user types: Staff, Manager, and Enterprise.
  • Change a user's type, like changing a Staff User to a Manager User.
  • Access all Enterprise and Practice settings.
  • Set Permissions that determine user access levels.

Unlike Staff and Manager users, Enterprise users have access to:

  • Conversation Flows
  • Triggers
  • Enterprise Insights

Add Enterprise Users

When adding users, you can only use email addresses with domains that have been whitelisted by Artera. Artera can only whitelist email domains that you own. We cannot whitelist @gmail.com, @yahoo.com, etc. for security reasons.

  1. Navigate to Settings > Enterprise Settings > Enterprise Users.
  2. Select + Add Enterprise User in the upper-right corner of the screen.
  3. Enter the First Name, Last Name, and Email fields. Cell Phone is optional, but can be useful for authenticating via cell or receiving Internal Mention notifications if the user is included in an Enterprise Group.
  4. Select Save Enterprise User to create the user.

User Login Instructions

Enterprise Users do not receive a "Welcome" email with instructions on logging into Artera. Click here for instructions on how to log in.

Edit Enterprise Users

To edit an Enterprise User, navigate to Settings > Enterprise Settings > Enterprise Users and locate the user from the list. From the user's (...) Actions menu, select Edit User. Select Save Enterprise User once edits are made.

Delete Enterprise Users

To delete an Enterprise User, navigate to Settings > Enterprise Settings > Enterprise Users and locate the user from the list. From the user's (...) Actions menu, select Delete User. Select Save Enterprise User once edits are made.

Delete

A Note about Deleting Users

When you delete a user from Artera, any edits they have made to the platform will be erased from the related Edit History. Re-adding the user will restore their history entries.

Searching for Enterprise Users

To quickly search for an Enterprise User, navigate to the Enterprise Settings menu and select Enterprise Users. Use the name and email search box to search by an Enterprise user's name or email address.
