Permissions allow you to be prescriptive about what Staff and Manager users can view and edit in Artera. Permissions can only be set by Enterprise users.

Accessing Permissions

  1. Open Settings in the bottom-left corner of the navigation bar:
  2. Navigate to Enterprise Settings > Permissions:
  3. For each Module, set the Minimum Access Required:
    1. Example 1: if you set the Add Patients module to Staff, then Staff, Manager, and Enterprise Users can add patients
    2. Example 2: If you set the Users module to Enterprise, only Enterprise Users can add Users

Permission Definitions

Note: These permissions are all for Practice-level access:

Module

Definition

Forms

Determine who can view Forms.

Lines

Determine who can create, edit, and set line hours and holiday line hours for Lines.

Users

Determine who can create and edit Staff and Manager Users.

Events

Determine who can edit and disable Events.

Analytics

Determine who can view the Practice Insights Reports.. NOTE: Enterprise users will always have access to all Insights Reports.

Campaigns

Determine who can create, edit, and start/pause Campaigns.

Resources

Determine who can edit and disable Resources.

Quick Responses

Determine who can create, edit, and delete Practice Quick Responses. NOTE: Only Enterprise users can create and edit Default Quick Responses. 

Automations


Determine who can create, edit, and start/pause Practice Automations. NOTE: This permission only applies to Automations. Only Enterprise users can create, edit, and start/pause Triggers. 

User Groups

Determine who can create, edit, and disable User Groups. NOTE: Only Enterprise users can create, edit, and disable Enterprise Groups. 

Add Patients

Determine who can add Unverified Patients directly to Artera.

Holiday Hours

Determine who can create Practice Holiday Hours. NOTE: The user type selected for the Holiday Hours Permission must also have the Lines Permission.

Practice Settings

Determine who can edit Practice Settings.

Staff Safety Controls

Determine who can hide inbound messages and images (Only Enterprise or Manager users)
